Local Theater Sites

• Hampshire Shakespeare Company - An acting troupe devoted to bringing Shakespeare to the pioneer valley. Their main production every year is a series of outdoor performances of Shakespeare's plays. They also hold acting workshops.
• Massachusetts Center for Renaissance Studies Part of the University of Massachusetts, this building houses many "Early Modern Texts." They hold conferences and performances, and are currently raising money to construct a "Great Hall," which will help hold future conferences and future performances of the Hampshire Shakespeare Company.
• Artists of the Valley - A blog devoted to highlighting all sorts of artists in the valley. Not just theatre types.

People I Know

• Thijs de Vries - My bro's site, on which he flexes his ecclectic muscles. He has a section on brewing beer, photography, and programming. Great page if any of those three interest you!
• Marina Morrow - An actress with whom I have acted. She played my sister, Isabella, when I played Claudio in Measure for Measure and starred as Rosalind in As You Like It when I played Monsieur Le Beau.
• Geert de Vries - A professor of Neuroscience at the University of Massachusetts. Also, my father.
• Dan Petrelli - My friend, who is an Assistant Resident Director in the Southwest residential area of UMass.
